Would someone please take my money?

Ever been in a store (flashback to the before times) and wanted to yell, “HELLO! Would someone please take my money?” You found the perfect item and want to buy it. BAD. You walked around. No clerks. It’s almost like they didn’t want to sell you anything.

What does this have to do with your web pages?

The call-to-action (CTA) on your web page should be like the best store clerks. Easy to find, happy to answer questions and there when you want to buy.

Easy-to-find calls to action sound simple. But I bet you’ve had to search for a “buy now” or “find out more” button. Maybe you wanted to sign up for a much-touted newsletter and couldn’t find a sign-up except for in the footer.

When you make it easy, more people will accomplish your goal – sign up, download, find out more, buy, etc.

Before you hit “publish” on your page, check your CTAs. Make it easy on your prospective customers and more profitable for you – make your CTAs easy to find.
